Does anyone know where I can get a headstone for a good price?
My husband died in January. All of the other graves have headstones. I feel like he is being left out. I can afford a nominal amount. It would mean alot to me and my family. Thanx.
Sorry about your loss.
I suggesty that you contact a local monument company. Monuments (headstones) can be as simple as a flat plaque set flush with the ground, to a low granite marker, to a full-size headstone. There should be something you can afford.
You should check with the cemetery where he is buried and see what types of monuments are permitted where your husband is buried.
Also, if your husband was a military veteran, the government may provide a marker (usually flush with the ground) at no charge.
I purchased two monuments in the last two years, each of which cost about $3000. These were full-size monuments. You can purchase something smaller for much less. I have attached a link to an online company that sells flat markers for $399.
